I would rather be ashes than dust

I would rather be ashes than dust! I would rather that my spark should burn out in a brilliant blaze than it should be stifled by dry-rot. I keep this here to refer to, to remind me, during the times when my head is full of the mundane minute details that must be dealt with in life, that there is a greater purpose, a greater reason that we must each fulfil, and that is to truly live.
