Not really, but it is starting to feel that way.

I am writing this from a hospital bed after being admitted last night. And despite the title, it is totally unrelated to my giving up smoking, I think.

Monday night I had a dull ache in my right jaw, possibly toothache I thought. By last night, the right side of my face is swollen and the eye is bloodshot and not opening properly.

I went in to the local walk in centre, who sent me elsewhere to see a GP, who then sent me to casualty. I was admitted last night and am hoping to see the consultant this morning.

on a positive note, its been 34 hours since my last cigarette.
